![]() Dency Kane's photographs are published in garden books and magazines and used in print, web and product advertising. She is the sole photographer of six gardening books including Garden Stone. Her fine art black and white prints have been exhibited in European galleries and collected by museums including the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Brooklyn Museum, New Orleans Museum of Art, Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Bibliothéque Nationale in Paris. She also lectures about the aesthetics of garden photography and has given talks at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Winterthur Gardens, Connecticut College, Planting Fields Arboretum, and many horticultural societies.
![]() Madelyn Edelson is an educator, poet, author and lecturer. She has published two children's books, The Proud Beech and The Little Wind, which both explore man's relationship with nature. A teacher of English and Humanities for nearly 30 years, she won awards for excellence in teaching from John Hopkins University and Cornell University, and was awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship. She has lectured on literature and presented literacy workshops for children in libraries and schools from New York to Florida, and has tutored adults learning English in advanced reading skills. |
